Christian novels/fiction

I have been clearing out the church library to make room for new books and withdrawn a whole lot of fiction. What do you baptists esp think of christian fiction.

Please comment on whether you read them (or not) find them edifying (or not).

Tim Lahaye
Frank Peretti
William p Young

Huh its ok nobody really took them out anyway. They are being donated to book fair for charity. We were going to dump them...

I enjoy Christian Fiction. I've read a lot of Peretti and the Left Behind series. My wife reads Oke and Lewis. I don't have a lot of time now for fiction but it's relaxing when I get the chance.

I've read...Francine Rivers. And Neta Jackson. Thats about it. oh and John Bunyan. I was given Eve to read by W P young. I haven't started it.

I did read one Peretti.

I prefer true stories myself, testimonies.. but I suppose there is a place for christian fiction.
I took home Christy and Hinds feet in high Places as haven't read those yet and heard they were good.
