I myself would not trust in any dream interpretation websites. Any New Age
person, can call themselves Christian. The problem with dreams and visions is you
take your eyes and focus off of the Father in Heaven. Jesus always pointed to the
Father in Heaven. If you desire to play in dreams and visions, be very careful.
Most Christians would take the hand of any image that approaches them or believe
any thing from the mouth of these images. You play with fire, you could get burned.

Hmm are you looking for interpretation help of the whole dream or of the symbols in your dreams? There are many gifted people here have you posted in this D & V much?

I join GaryP in steering you away from dream interpretation sites. The fact is, your dreams are so personal that even the most universal symbols are tailored to who you are and what's going on in your life.
For instance, one of my favorite dream characters is an attractive but somewhat tempermental blonde named Susan, who is not above a practical joke or two. That she would "mean" the same thing to a 31 year old Scots lass and this curmudgeonly male Yank is hardly likely.
The problem with those "This [symbol] means that" websites and dictionaries is that they tell you more about the author's psyche than yours. Gracechick's got the right idea. Do your own free associations, and ask on sites like this. Whether it's from your own mind or by picking others, you'll know when the meaning that's meant for you comes along.

I agree. I find that the forum approach brings so much more, because the dreamer does not feel obligated to agree with one interpretation -- they can gain from many people who also listen to God.
Most Christians would not agree with me, but I also do not agree with some of the Christian books on dream symbolism. They strictly use Biblical symbols, and close off other possibilities. In some estimations, three as the Trinity couldn't possibly mean 3:00 or three people or three phases of activity... a boat couldn't mean an organization because it was meant to transport fishers of men. The writers limit how God can speak to people.
God spoke to people through dreams before the Bible was written out. Would that mean Joseph and Daniel were using unscriptural methods? The Bible does not have an instruction manual for interpreting dreams.

Well, I think from Joseph and Daniel we have to remember, if a dream is from God, He's the one to seek for an interpretation, though it may come from another person potentially. That's my thoughts on it.

Well, if the interpretation is from a Joseph or a Daniel, we can trust it; but how do we know if they are real Josephs and Daniels?
If the Bible is authoritative, most dreams direct from God don't need interpretation. Joseph of Nazareth is just told that Mary's baby is the Christ, that he needs to flee to Egypt, that it's safe to return, etc. Pharoah's and Nebuchadnezzar's dreams seem to be more to establish the credibility of the interpreter. Joseph goes straight from prisoner to Prime Minister.
