When I was younger I went to a Catholic school and we were always read this book, I can't remember the title or the author, but here is a description:
This man made all these wooden people and placed them in this town... and they were all pretty much the same except for one, who was "ugly" because he was different. All the other people gave each other stars or red stickers based on whether they were pretty or ugly, and the ugly person was covered in red stickers.
Then he went to his Creator, who told him that he purposely made him different because he was special, or something.
Anyone help me out?
