Christ made us free, in the law of liberty . Who is free to judge us into bondage now ?

The Spirit of the Lord is upon the Messiah, anointed, preaching the Gospel to the poor, healing the broken hearted, deliverance to the captives, the blind recovered for sight, and setting liberty the bruised.

Romans 8, further tells us what we are delivered from, from the bondage of corruption, into the glorious liberty of the children of God....

Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

Romans 8:20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

Corinthians tells us all things are lawful for us ( delivered from non independence to liberty) ) how to eat whatever is offered, as the earth is the Lord's and the fullness of it ( nothing is not His, nor then to be treated any differently) and to eat and not ask questions, but do all for conscience sake, not for the judgment of another, on your liberty in Christ....

1 Corinthians 10:23 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.
24 Let no man seek his own, but every man another's wealth.
25 Whatsoever is sold in the shambles, that eat, asking no question for conscience sake:
26 For the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof.
27 If any of them that believe not bid you to a feast, and ye be disposed to go; whatsoever is set before you, eat, asking no question for conscience sake.
28 But if any man say unto you, this is offered in sacrifice unto idols, eat not for his sake that shewed it, and for conscience sake: for the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof:
29 Conscience, I say, not thine own, but of the other: for why is my liberty judged of another man's conscience?

Judaism has blinding to not recognize faith in the Messiah even in their own testament, and need to turn to the Lord, to have the vail taken away from the heart. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. We are changed into the same image of the Lord, by the Spirit of the Lord...

2 Corinthians 3:14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.
15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.
16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.
17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Christ has made us free in liberty, we are warned not to be entangled again into bondage, as who is justified by law ( curcumcision and all the law) has themselves yet in debt ( not made free in liberty by Christ) and are subject to all the laws ( of man)

Falling from grace is to seek to be justified by law. Instead to wait for the hope of righteousness by faith through the Spirit, is the faith that works by love..

Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
2 Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.
3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.
4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

We then are called unto liberty, but not to sefrve ourselves, but by love to serve one another.

If anyone teaches law, their teaching is fulfilled in this one thing, to love our neighbour as ourselves.

Walking in the Spirit is to not fulfil the lusts of the flesh .

Why then is anyone subject to ordinances, to taste not, touch not, as all ordinances of men are to perish..

Galatians 5:13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.
16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

Colossians 2:20 Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,
21 (Touch not; taste not; handle not;
22 Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?

The perfect law of liberty is to be blessed in our deed, and pure religion before the Father is to be undefiled, by caring for others in their affliction and by keeping ourselves unspotted from the world....

James 1:25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Being a debtor to do the whole law, one must keep the whole law, ( or we wait for the hope of righteousness by faith through the Spirit) and being in the law of liberty we know that God has no mercy on those who showed no mercy, and that the mercy of God is what triumphs over that judgment.

We are under faith ( the law of faith and the law of Christ to bear one another's burdens serving one another in love) and then faith has works of love and is never alone...

James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.
13 For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.

James 2:15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

The great swelling words of vanity are to allure us through the flesh ( to not have faith by the Spirit) and they promise us liberty.

The servants of corruption ( what is not of faith is sin) bring us back into bondage, and are entangled again in the yoke of bondage ( not standing free in faith, but debtors to do the whole law)...

2 Peter 2:18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.
19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Christ made us free, in the law of liberty . Who is free to judge us into bondage now ?.

James 2 - read it.

8 If, however, you are fulfilling the royal law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” (Lev 19:18) you are doing well. 9 But if you show partiality, you are committing sin and are convicted by the Law as violators.

No "dead law" there for Lev 19:18 in the LAW of Moses.

10 For whoever keeps the whole Law, yet stumbles in one point, has become guilty of all. 11 For He who said, “Do not commit adultery,” (Ex 20) also said, “Do not murder.” (Ex 20) Now if you do not commit adultery, but do murder, you have become a violator of the Law. 12 So speak, and so act, as those who are to be judged by the law of liberty.

========== and since you keep raising the same point in different threads --

Even in the NT -- "SIN IS transgression of the LAW" 1 John 3:4 and in that context John writes "sin NOT" 1 John 2:1

"what matters is KEEPING the Commandments of God" 1 Cor 7:19
"the saints KEEP the Commandments of God" Rev 14:12

The commandments of God include "the TEN" known to Jeremiah and his readers at the time of writing the NEW Covenant Jer 31:31-34 and having "'honor your father and mother' as the first commandment with a promise" Eph 6:2

=========== And since this is "Sabbath and the Law" forum --

"from Sabbath to Sabbath shall ALL MANKIND come before Me to bow down" Is 66:23

Lev 23:3 the 7th day Sabbath is a day of "Holy Convocation"

Sorry the Spiritual are judged of no man.

The spirit of the world is judgmental, yet Christ taught this for those judges..

Matthew 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

The Spirit of God freely lets us know the things of God.

Mans wisdom cannot teach what the Holy Ghost teaches.

Law is not teaching faith, otherwise Judaism would have belief in the law of Moses.

Preaching of the cross is foolishness to law teachers ( as this is the faith being taught)..

1 Corinthians 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ.

The Jews ( people of law) require signs, and Greeks wisdom, but preaching Christ crucified ) preaching faith to the law) is a stumblingblock to the Jews and unto Greeks foolishness..

1 Corinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
22 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:
23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

The Gentiles attain the righteousness that is of faith ) not of law teaching) but Israel follows after the law for their righteousness, and do not attain to the law of righteousness.

That is seeking not by faith ( as is all law teaching) but as it were, by the works of the law, and stumbling at the preaching of the faith, the stumbling stone that is Christ for them to stumble at, to all ones who do not believe..

Romans 9:30 What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith.
31 But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.
32 Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;
33 As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
