Chopping the Big Chaz (Lawsuit)

It's going to be interesting what the future holds for the Seattle mayor. It looks like she stepped in some big legal doodoo with her "Summer of Love" and other comments, as far as giving some good legal grounds for some legal action against her city.


There is some good legal analysis below from Canadian lawyer and legal Vlogger below.
"Breaking down the "CHOP" Zone class action lawsuit against Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan and Governor Jay Inslee. It's a fascinating lawsuit, and Robert Barnes explained how the mayor and governor have, through their conduct, in fact created a legitimate basis for the suit. "

OK I guess he did a new video this morning on the subject that probably is a bit more exact and succinct.

seems no one wants to acknowledge what this prime example of a liberal mayor and liberal city council has accomplished. Liberal reaction to facts that do not support their position, ignore them.

I think it goes back to the idea "If you try to please everyone, you please no one." She should have taken a position she believed in and followed through. Both her and the governor (Jay Inslee) are like driftwood upon the waves. So it's only natural they get tossed around about a bit.

Yep. On the second video especially the lawyer talks about how people often file lawsuits "just to tell their story" especially on difficult to establish cases. And well that was very true with this, unless you were FoxNews or a conservative Blogger, You-tuber etc., people did not really care and report about the legal residents and business owners who were basically held hostage, extorted etc. by the CHAZ/CHOP.

Huh? Just because a mayor advocates a lenient approach, somehow they are out of touch with reality?

BTW, this is a bit of "pot kettle black": conservative Christians are the ones that advocate for dogmatic belief in a priori assumptions. So you guys have no business lecturing the rest of us about facts.
