So is taking out every few days due to a outbreak, and I don't trust desantis as far as I can throw him he's shown he doesn't care about lives, just how he looks. Protecting kids and their families is more important, especially with how many lives Florida keeps losing.

No it's not. It's just not.

Parents take their kids out of school for 2 weeks to go to Disneyland and LITERALLY nobody bats and eye....

There is a different between something being "stressful" and something being "harmful". Spending extra time with family and loved ones should NOT be harmful. YEs there ABSOLUTELY ARE families where it IS harmful, but they may not be in the majority.



Of course, I also abide by Maslow's hierarchy of needs that puts health before education.

So the asymptomatic child continues to go to school. They infect five other children who are not asymptomatic, are really sick, and cannot go to school. Before they get sick enough to stay home each of those five infects five more...and on and on it goes. Pretty soon many, many children are at home sick and the school has to shut down until they can get things under control again.
