We trained hard ... but it seemed that every time we were beginning to form up into teams we would be reorganized. I was to learn later in life that we tend to meet any new situation by reorganizing; and a wonderful method it can be for creating the illusion of progress while producing confusion, inefficiency, and demoralization.
Are you sure that quotation is genuine?:Hmmm - a quotation from an ancient writer comes to mindhere we go againWe trained hard ... but it seemed that every time we were beginning to form up into teams we would be reorganized. I was to learn later in life that we tend to meet any new situation by reorganizing; and a wonderful method it can be for creating the illusion of progress while producing confusion, inefficiency, and demoralization.
Does not suprise me.
In the past, as any website that focuses on understanding between all Christians...we have sometimes had our times of greater or lesser dispute on things. One thing that is of concern whenever there is a new owner is the question: Are Catholics Christians?
i hope this does not sound like a cop out to you. that is not what i am trying to do. at this point, knowing what CF has been through in the past year i am not making any policy changes anytime in the near future.
to be honest, my belief in one topic or another is irrelevant at this point. this community needs to be taken care of and ministered to...that is my priority. i sense that is my role, and also feel strongly that this is a time to stabilize and grow. no one is on a short leash or is going to be run off.
Why do we always get picked on?
Since I'm new around here still, I don't know the background. Why would there be a concern for Catholics in here?
There are few Multi-Christian boards that treat us like Christians. Very few. And these are private boards. How we are treated pretty much depends on the view of the owner and what rules they allow.
