A person with COVID-19 is still 'likely to infect' 2.5 other people

In updated guidance, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said its "best estimate" is that 40 percent of people infected with COVID-19are asymptomatic.

In the update, posted July 10, the CDC said the basic reproduction number or the number of people one person "is likely to infect" is 2.5, and the infectiousness level of asymptomatic people is 75 percent, relative to symptomatic patients.

The government agency added a new part to its report, an "Infection Fatality Ratio," which "takes into account both symptomatic and asymptomatic cases and may therefore be a more directly measurable parameter for disease severity for COVID-19." The new metric states that 0.65 percent of those with COVID-19 are estimated to die.

Could very well be 40% of those believed to be infected are false positive cases. The PCR test is not a diagnostic tool to detect viruses. So that in and of itself should raise a red flag to most. The WHO came out in early June to say its very rare for “asymptomatic” persons to spread this so called virus that’s never been purified nor has gone through the process of Koch’s postulates. That was in the article you posted but I’m assuming you ignored it. That as well should raise red flags. Just shows how ridiculous this sham is

CDC is doing what good science-based agencies do, give new recommendations based on new data. What they said in June doesn't mean it is still true now.

We have more infections now per capita than the rest of the world. We need to start doing something to slow the rate.

What was said in June by the WHO was quickly recanted and pulled back do to blow back. You don’t find that odd? If the PCR test cannot diagnose a virus, what exactly makes one test positive?

Just because one type of test is not working doesn't mean that all tests are wrong.

Also, other countries have successful tests to identify people that are infected. Do not trust their numbers?

That's not true.

It sure is. Used it many times for just that purpose.

Are these test 100% accurate? If not then it is true. And if these test weren’t created to be used as a diagnostic tool, then how can you say you used it for this purpose? And if this so called Covid 19 has not gone through Koch’s postulates, how can you diagnose anyone with this disease?

How do you account for all the sick people filling ICU beds and the vastly increased death rates if the PCU results are completely invalid?

Nope.

If not then it is true.

No, it isn't. Like many things, both accuracy and precision can be measured and mitigated.

And if these test weren’t created to be used as a diagnostic tool

They were created to be used as a diagnostic tool.

It has gone through Koch's postulates.

When it comes to science denial, go ahead with your creationism, geocentrism, flat earth, etc. but please have the decency to not spread unsubstantiated conspiracies around when people's lives are at stake.
