Major case of insomnia tonight! Ugh! Can't get my mind to stop thinking about every little thing!
Praying! I get insomnia, too. It is tough!

"Jesus, King of Love, I trust in Your Merciful Goodness!"

This prayer, over and over, helps me.

I don't drink coffee and avoid caffeine. I finally got to sleep about 4am and I was tossing and turning. Now I'm up.

Melatonin puts me right to sleep. It makes me so drowsy, I couldn't stay awake even if I wanted to. Tylenol helps me too, since sometimes when I have trouble sleeping it's because of aches and pains.

My problem is my cat not letting me sleep in.

Melatonin gets me sleepy but it does not last for me. Cats like to get up and start the day! Lol! I have the same problem! :)

Thinking about opening a tiny side business, reselling canned and bottled drinks for a profit. Trying to iron out the details, get licensed, and get paperwork in. Not as a full-time job, just a side thing.

How's everyone doing?

Good luck on your business endeavor! Doing fine here. Just getting ready to head to the florist! :)

Thanks, Michie!

Re: Flowers: Oh, cool! What are you gonna buy?
Just some stems to cheer things up. And some Spring bulbs to put in my glass canisters for the window sill to start. It's a fun and cheery project every year. When they are done blooming, I just transfer them to the bulb garden. :)

Good luck Gracia!

I'm doing all right, but CF has been pretty slow the last few days, so I've been pretty quiet as well. I hope everyone is doing well. :)
Thanks, Multi! Yeah, I think I need to just straight up avoid debate on here. It gets messy, and even if it feels like I "won", I usually feel like a bit of a jerk, too. Plus, it's Lent.

You're welcome. :) I know how you feel about debate, I try to avoid it too. How's everyone's Lent going so far?

I like your idea Michie, I bet your flowers will be beautiful. :)

I went on a pilgrimage with my sons and many members of our community on Holy Thursday in which we walked from church to church, stopping to pray .

just read this post
husband & I were in NYC to do adoption paperwork

while there we stopped in every church we saw to pray for our yet unknown child

we thank God for the blessing of our child

Quick question. There have been a bunch of times when I've wanted to say a prayer or novena but couldn't do it because it contained certain wording I didn't understand. For example, something like "we humbly prostrate ourselves before Thy Infinite Majesty". Is this literal prostration? I feel like I don't know enough about that. Can parts of novenas be left off if I don't understand them or don't know how to do them?

Parts can be left out, yes. In fact you can write your own novenas.
