Hello. I hope this subforum is the right place for this question: someone knows if the Orthodox Churches recognizes the Catholic baptism? I mean if it is valid for them... Please i need a download mp3 for this question Thanks.
The Orthodox Church would generally recognise the form of the Catholic baptism (Trinitarian), however if a former Catholic was received into the Orthodox Church, they would normally be received through Chrismated. According to the strict definition on the canons they could be required to be baptised in the Orthodox Church but Chrismation is usually the case.
