We got a winner in the WH:). DOW is all set to pop 200+. I love this guy:).

It's kind of funny or in a way it is rather sad. As Trump entered renegotiations with Canada and Mexico so many screamed that he was distancing the United States from some of our closest allies.

All Trump was trying to do was to get the United States a better deal -- jeepers! What the heck is so wrong with that?

And now what surprise, surprise -- we have a much better Trade Agreement.

Maybe Trump could have even done better if there were not so many obstructionist standing in his way?

Indeed, sir. Sometimes, the old ways have to be destroyed to build something better. I guess one can't pour new wine into old wine-skins :). People always dread change. I was a little disappointed when Gary Cohn quit. The USMCA could have gone much faster with him. To the pleasant surprise of the naysayers, sometimes the change is for the better! Now, if he can get China to play ball, the US economy would be invincible. Peace in Christ :).

The fact that he's doing so well in SPITE of them, is quite remarkable.

Many if not most of us would agree that Obama did not know how to make a good deal. Definitely not one of his strong points.

Trump appears to be very good at this and enjoys it. We might only have Trump in office for a short while? Let's support our President and see what he can accomplish. He will be judged later in history. Why should some try to destroy the man before he even got started and when we are not even sure what he can accomplish?

I'm not sure why but, I keep thinking that the evil one may be playing a part here? For we know that he wants nothing good for us and only wishes to seek and destroy. Is that not what many wish for Trump ( to seek and destroy)?

As Trump would say, how sad.

Says who?

After a long conference with --
the goats shared that with me.

They are concerned regarding the many that wish to oust Trump from office and will do anything so as to get their way.

Ones that don't realize
when they have it good.

As an old black man at work told me many times, " you don't know what you have until the well runs dry."

Yes, let's call the White House Comment Line and let him know that we support him and are praying for him and to thank him for all that he's been, and is doing. He needs as much support and prayers that he can get. So does our country.

White House Comment Line:

Praying.

"Deal good for Canada"

It's all politics folks, let us remember how Canada's Trudeau was playing hardball a couple of weeks ago and now he says this new deal is good for Canada.

Trump is and was in an excellent position for renegotiations with Mexico and Canada for trade with the United States is where it's at for countries that wish to prosper.

I wouldn't be surprised if our pathetic media isn't covering this, but China has already begun to play ball. They have no choice. Trump is holding all the cards and they both know it. This is not a full solution, but it's a start.

China slashes steel, textile tariffs as Trump ratchets up pressure

China's finance ministry announced Sunday that it will reduce import tariffs on a variety of products, including textiles and steel.

The tariff rate for textiles and metals including steel will fall to 8.4 percent from 11.5 percent, effective Nov. 1, Reuters reports. “Reducing tariffs is conducive to promoting the balanced development of foreign trade and promoting a higher level of opening up to the outside world,” the finance ministry said.

The ministry also announced that tariffs on wood and paper, minerals, and gemstones will fall to 5.4 percent from 6.6 percent, with average tariffs across 1,500 products reaching 7.8 percent, down from 10.5 percent.

The reductions come as President Trump deploys increasingly aggressive tariffs against Chinese goods, and just six days after Trump implemented a 10 percent tariff on $200 billion of Chinese goods, following a similar action against $50 billion of goods in August....

It's good to see that Trump is not backing off on China. The Chinese know that they're up against the real deal now.

Yes China you have been laying heavy tariffs on the United States, stealing our technology, the buck stops here with Trump.

Obama showed no skills whatsoever when dealing with China. Do we still remember when Obama's plane landed in China and they would not even bring him a ramp to get off the plane?

Canada agreed late Sunday to join the trade deal that the United States and Mexico reached last month, meeting negotiators’ self-imposed midnight deadline designed to allow the current Mexican president to sign the accord on his final day in office and (giving President Trump a big win on trade.)

Canada agrees to join trade accord with U.S. and Mexico, sending new NAFTA deal to Congress

Whats even funnier, is that they both cried, screamed, insulted, demanded, rejected, like little babies,

AND STILL they caved in and took Trumps deal.

Trudeau and his sidekick just played politics with millions of jobs in Ontario, and I think a lot of Canadians are unhappy about it. Canada is voting today - before the details of the deal come out.

More on China:

China says its economy is slowing. Its central bank may be preparing to intervene

From the article linked above:

China says its economy is slowing. Its central bank may be preparing to intervene
China’s central bank is likely to cut reserve requirement ratios for banks one more time this year, said Jeff Ng, chief economist for Asia at Continuum Economics.
Over the weekend, a private survey showed growth in China’s factory sector stalled after 15 months of expansion, with export orders falling the fastest in over two years.
An official survey also confirmed a further weakening in the manufacturing sector.

lol.....it is really no different.

Trump's 'New' Canada-Mexico Trade Deal Has All Kinds Of Improvements? Thanks, Obama.

With critical elections approaching, President Donald Trump on Monday declared a rebranded trade deal with Mexico and Canada a major victory for himself ― even though it relies on key elements negotiated by his predecessor, President Barack Obama, for an agreement Trump had called a disaster.

“Throughout the campaign I promised to renegotiate NAFTA, and today we have kept that promise,” Trump said of his update to the North American Free Trade Agreement, which he described as the “incredible new U.S.-Mexico-Canada agreement called USMCA.”

But the majority of the “new” items in the deal announced late Sunday were negotiated over a period of years by the Obama administration as part of the Trans-Pacific Partnership. That agreement included a dozen nations in the Americas, Southeast Asia, Japan and Australia, reducing trade barriers and increasing environmental and labor standards.

In fact, at least half of the men and women standing behind Trump during his Rose Garden ceremony praising the new deal were the same career service staff who negotiated nearly identical provisions in TPP, which Trump had railed against.
