Nor are the ones I've known. In fact, most of the ones I've known preferred to spend more to get the premium stuff.

Additionally, price issues aside, having a legal outlet opens up the market to a whole ton of people who otherwise would've shied away from precisely because it was illegal.

Etc.

None of that nonsense anymore.

You just walk into a specific business. They check your ID much like they do at a bar. They have a counter you walk up to and select whichever buds look best to you and are within your price range. You pay at a register, tax is included in the sale so the state benefits from this. And then you just go on your merry way home.

And that's it. Why anyone would want to criminalize and pay to incarcerate people who are doing only that, is beyond me.

I think they might be comparing apples to exotic fruit. $5 a gram marijuana is, no doubt, brown shwaggy dirt weed. Decent to excellent quality in my region ranges $12-17 a gram (based on $40-60 8th O prices).
