Brother, it is not up to us to change the ten commandments to suit our comfort. That is what the Roman apostate church tried to do with the ten commandments and they will pay for their sedition.

He will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy people and try to change the set times and the laws. The holy people will be delivered into his hands for a time, times and half a time. “‘But the court will sit, and his power will be taken away and completely destroyed forever. (Daniel 7:25-26 NIV)

The people of God keep the ten commandments expressed below with its “set times” for the Sabbath in the fourth commandment.

A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives its mark on their forehead or on their hand, they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment will rise for ever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.” This calls for patient endurance on the part of the people of God who keep his commands and remain faithful to Jesus. (Revelation 14:9-12 NIV)

United in our hope of the soon return of Jesus, Jorge

It was the apostles, the companions of Jesus who lead the move from worshipping on saturday to worshipping on sunday.
The SDA make a big issue out of the day of worship.
When it is not a big issue.

Brother, no apostle was responsible for the change as concluded by my history professor, Dr. Samuele Bacchiocchi, in his book: "From Sabbath To Sunday: A Historical Investigation Of The Rise Of Sunday Observance In Early Christianity". The Apostles in no way changed the Shabbat to sun worship day, the Apostles are children of Abraham and they followed Yah's Commandments. Messiah followed them, His disciples followed them. Israel broke Covenant by not following the Commandments and Israel was scattered like seed because they did not keep the Shabbaths .... They are the Set Times to meet with the Eternal One !

Jesus rose from the dead on the first day of the week (Matt. 28:1-7; Mark 16:2, 9; Luke 24:1; John 20:1).
Jesus appeared to the disciples on the first day of the week (John 20:19).
Paul instructed the churches to put aside contributions on the first day of the week
(1 Cor. 16:2).
It is clear from the bible that Christians met on the first day of the week.

The assumption is Yahshua rose on the first day of the week, when in reality Messiah rose on the Feast of First Fruits at the end of Passover/Unleavened Bread week. Messiah went to the stake/cross on Wednesday rose on First Fruits on the Sabbath.

Keeping to the original post, my opinion is Eden is the Arabian desert between the Nile, the Tigris, and the Euphrates river.

Well you can say that the bible lies or that it tells the truth, your choice.

As for where Eden was. Think.
Think about how destructive what ever caused over a mile of sediment to be laid was.
That the violence in the breaking up of the continent into tectonic plates and the subduction that allowed the flood water to drain away, plus the additional errosion caused by this run off means that the world that used to exist was totaly destroyed.

We do not know where it was.

Maybe you should read Leviticus 23. These are the Set Times of Elohim, the Feast are His and His Calender.

In the year of Peleg the earth was divided. Noah's flood, flooded the earth. The mountains still existed the rivers still existed life still existed.

We do not know where it was.

You're right we don't know, but my opinion is it's still the Arabian desert.

Brothers, we know where Eden was because the Sabbath in Israel is not a local day of the week and is a reminder of the seventh day of the week in Eden, which shows that the Sabbath is remembered in the time zone of Eden. That means it tells the site of Eden from Israel and falls on the International Date Line (IDL) that shows the reason for the IDL site.

Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. (Exodus 20:8-11 KJV)

This shows that we should not assume that we know what God says, because He does not think like us. We need to seek confirmation in the Scriptures about what we believe God is saying and not assume that we understand Him without confirmation. United in our hope of the soon return of Jesus, Jorge

Exodus 31:16 Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.
Leviticus 24:8 Every sabbath he shall set it in order before the LORD continually, being taken from the children of Israel by an everlasting covenant.
Isaiah 56:6

Brother, for non-believers it is evidence of God in our origin of the day count with the week corroborated by the site of the International Date Line. United in our hope of the soon return of Jesus, Jorge
If 'Eden' is a literal, historical, place, then, yes, possibly, it can be 'found.'
If a non-believers decides to come to faith and that’s a contributing factor then they have it all wrong.
Agree......

According to Revelation, it appears the only place both the Garden of Eden/Tree of Life and the Ark of the Covenant will ever be seen is when we die and get to heaven......

Heb 11:1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Gen 2:9
And out of the ground the Yahweh Elohim made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Rev 2:7
“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.” '
Rev 22:2
In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
============================
Jer 3:16 “Then it shall come to pass, when you are multiplied and increased in the land in those days,” says the LORD, “that they will say no more, ‘The Ark of the Covenant of the LORD.'
It shall not come to mind,
nor shall they remember it,
nor shall they visit it,
nor shall it be made anymore

Rev 11:19
And opened was the Sanctuary of God in the heaven, and there was seen the Ark of His Covenant in His Sanctuary, and there did come lightnings, and voices, and thunders, and an earthquake, and great hail.

Brother, we are Israelites and we are no longer Gentiles, we have been "grafted" into Israel.

If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you. You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.” Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but tremble. For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either. Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off. And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. After all, if you were cut out of an olive tree that is wild by nature, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree! (Romans 11:17-24 NIV)
We were cut branches of the Gentiles and grafted unnaturally as Israelites as well as the natural cut branches of the Israelites can be easily grafted back as Israelites. United in our hope of the soon return of Jesus, Jorge

[were you under a different user name before?]

Seventh-day Adventist Church - Wikipedia

There is a generally recognized set of "distinctive" doctrines which distinguish Adventism from the rest of the Christian world, although not all of these teachings are wholly unique to Adventism:[citation needed]

  • Law (fundamental belief 19): the Law of God is "embodied in the Ten Commandments", which continue to be binding upon Christians.
  • Sabbath (fundamental belief 20): the Sabbath should be observed on the seventh day of the week, specifically, from Friday sunset to Saturday sunset.
  • Second Coming and End times (fundamental beliefs 25–28): Jesus Christ will return visibly to earth after a "time of trouble", during which the Sabbath will become a worldwide test. The Second Coming will be followed by a millennial reign of the saints in heaven. Adventist eschatology is based on the historicist method of prophetic interpretation.
  • Holistic human nature (fundamental beliefs 7, 26): Humans are an indivisible unity of body, mind, and spirit. They do not possess an immortal soul and there is no consciousness after death (commonly referred to as "soul sleep"). (See also: Christian anthropology)
  • Conditional immortality (fundamental belief 27): The wicked will not suffer eternal torment in hell, but instead will be permanently destroyed. (See: Conditional immortality, Annihilationism)
  • Great Controversy (fundamental belief 8): Humanity is involved in a "great controversy" between Jesus Christ and Satan. This is an elaboration on the common Christian belief that evil began in heaven when an angelic being (Lucifer) rebelled against the Law of God.
  • Heavenly sanctuary (fundamental belief 24): At his ascension, Jesus Christ commenced an atoning ministry in the heavenly sanctuary. In 1844, he began to cleanse the heavenly sanctuary in fulfillment of the Day of Atonement.
  • Investigative Judgment (fundamental belief 24): A judgment of professed Christians began in 1844, in which the books of record are examined for all the universe to see. The investigative judgment will affirm who will receive salvation, and vindicate God in the eyes of the universe as just in his dealings with mankind.
  • Remnant (fundamental belief 13): There will be an end-time remnant who keep the commandments of God and have "the testimony of Jesus".[31] This remnant proclaims the "three angels' messages" of Revelation 14:6–12 to the world.
  • Spirit of Prophecy (fundamental belief 18): The ministry of Ellen G. White is commonly referred to as the "Spirit of Prophecy" and her writings "speak with prophetic authority and provide comfort, guidance, instruction, and correction to the church.",[32] though ultimately subject to the Bible. (See: Inspiration of Ellen White.)

Ephesians 2:12...remember that *you* were at one time separated from Messiah, alienated from the Commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the Covenants of Promise having no hope and without Elohim in the world.

Revelation 21:12...it had a great high wall, with twelve gates, and at the gates twelve Angel's, and on the gates the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel were inscribed ;

There is no church gate or gentile gate, so which gate are you going to walk through.
By the way the Sabbath was given at the last of creation,... Genesis 2:3 So Elohim blessed the seventh day and " Hallowed" it, because on it Elohim rested from all His work which He had done in creation.
In six days all His work was good, but the seventh day He made Holy.

The commands about keeoing the sabbeth have nothing to do with the location of Eden.

As you say we should not assume to know what God thinks. You are assuming that commands give the location.
When those commands were given Israel was wandering in Sini and was not yet in the land of Israel.
Your reasoning is faulty.

Brother, Israel is told to observe Passover when they enter the land. The Passover sacrifice is offered during the light period and is eaten during the night period and the law says that they must eat the meat on the day they offer it, making one day the commonly known light first followed by the night and not as the Jews assumed the night first because of the way instructed to remember the Sabbath in Israel as a time displaced from the local seventh day in Israel from what was in Eden. This displacement of 10 hours before the local seventh day in Israel marks the site of Eden from Israel because the Sabbath in Israel is remembered at a different time than God kept in Eden on the first seventh day of the creation week.

When the Lord goes through the land to strike down the Egyptians, he will see the blood on the top and sides of the doorframe and will pass over that doorway, and he will not permit the destroyer to enter your houses and strike you down. “Obey these instructions as a lasting ordinance for you and your descendants. When you enter the land that the Lord will give you as he promised, observe this ceremony. (Exodus 12:23-25 NIV)

God was giving instruction on what to do when they enter the promised land and the Passover confirms that the Sabbath is not the local seventh day in Israel as it was in Eden. United in our hope of the soon return of Jesus, Jorge

None of this states that gentiles are required to observe the Sabbath.
Romans 14:5-6
(5) One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
(6) He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.
