My wife lives in the Philippines far from anything even close to a city. Well she developed a boil (she also calls it a "pigsa"). So far there is no pus in it, but the pain is getting a bit worse every day. Shes almost to the point of tears.
Are boils common there? What other things could it bed? I would like her to go to a doctor but she doesn't want to because she thinks it will go away. THat and she doesn't have money for one, although I said I will send her some if she wants to go.
Shes had this thing I want to say about 3 or 4 days. Its on her leg. Just now she mentioned her armpit hurts a bit too now. Which is either unrelated or a lymph node swelling because of infection from the boil (assuming its what it is).
