Church is in danger nowadays?
sorry i didn't understand, do you criticize protestants? There is no doubt that church membership and attendance has fallen in recent decades across much of Christendom. How far this trend will go is impossible to predict. My own personal view for 10-20 years now is that within another generation or so, we will see the closure of many small local congregations and there will have to be mergers of various Protestant denominations in the U.S., like happened in Canada long ago with the United Church of Canada.
Not at all, lambofgod. The Catholic Church has lost huge numbers of followers as well, especially in Europe. Ireland is the prime example. Mass attendance there was about 90% each week a few decades ago and it has now dropped to about 50%. Meanwhile, Mass attendance in some European countries is down to 10% or less in the worst cases like the Czech Republic or the Netherlands or Belgium. I am not so sure about the Orthodox Church. Perhaps they are doing a little better, but I doubt much better?sorry i didn't understand, do you criticize protestants?
Yes i believe the Church of God is in real danger. The socialisation of the Church, which makes the Church just an extension of the social order, is a real danger.
but what relation is between light and darkness?The...church...is...an extension of the social order.
And only those churches survive who take the task seriously.
The rest are failing.
