Proverbs 24:9 The thought of foolishness is sin: and the scorner is an abomination to men.
Matthew 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
Matthew 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
Considering the mere thought of foolishness is sin, can an intentional blasphemous thought be blasphemy? Ultimately all sin originates from the mind, before it becomes an action or a spoken or written word.
There are two types of intentional thoughts, those that come from the heart, thoughts that you believe, and thoughts that you don't believe but you have in your mind. Like I can intentionally think "elephants are yellow" while not believing it.
Matthew 12:31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
Can you therefore blaspheme the Holy Spirit with a single intentional thought, whether it is from the heart or not?
