We have the truth. We believe that the Lord has left for himself a faithful witness to the truth of the Scriptures. We are Calvinists and we are not ashamed of this. Yet, of whom must is given, much is required. We are not to be Calvinists in word only, but in deed as well.
And for some wierd reason, after the Athiests were complaining about how burdensome the Lord is, this post seems to have stopped them cold. And that after the Athiests accused us of posting and running.
The Arminian is hamstrung in his theology. He believes that God loves everyone redemptively. The Atheists correctly points out that a god who cannot have what he wills is a god who deserves no respect. We are not so burdened.
What if we knew that it was impossible for us to fail. What if we knew that it was impossible for us to say the wrong thing and ruin someone else's chances forever. What if we knew that in victory or in defeat, we were the sweet savor of Christ in the nostrils of the Father. How bold would we be?

(15) For wee are vnto God the sweete sauour of Christ, in them that are saued, and in them which perish.
(16) To the one we are the sauour of death, vnto death, and to the other the sauour of life, vnto life: and who is sufficient for these things?
(17) For wee are not as many, which make marchandise of the woorde of God: but as of sinceritie, but as of God in ye sight of God speake we in Christ.
Mat 25:16 GB
(16) Then he that had receiued the fiue talents, went and occupied with them,....
Let us be occupied with our Master's business. Let us not bury what the Lord has entrusted to us. And, with that in mind, here is a thread that needs our attention: How do you find comfort in God?(16) Then he that had receiued the fiue talents, went and occupied with them,....
