I am so saddened that there are those of the "faith" who are rich. It is also so so sad, that many of its congregants are rich enough to give money to the rich "ministers of the gospel", but don't take the time to use that money to help themselves, families, and those even poorer than them. Is it okay to not only wonder about this, but to be critical of some ministers who do this? Is it also okay to call out or be critical of ministers one does not agree with because of false teaching? Didn't Paul do that as an example?

You made a good point; many modern Christians, myself included, have kind of forgotten the role of simplicity, voluntary poverty, and generosity in fostering holiness and love of Christ. Imho they mean a lot.

In the various churches I've been to, my personal manner has been to keep my negative thoughts in my heart unless asked. If asked, I'd be frank. That's just me, though.
