Harissa is awesome. I am curious about Rose Harrissa. Have you tried it?

Yes and it does add a note to harissa but I have to say I'm not so in love with floral notes myself so I rarely use it... (call me weird... lol.. my family does! Haha)

I was wondering if I’d like it. Was procrastinating because of it. I read that it takes the spicy edge off of regular harissa but I was worried it would have a perfume like taste to it.

If you are having problems spreading the butter you need to buy yellow butter. This is usually available as a European label (Irish, French, Finnish). It has a much lower melt point and is noticeably softer than white butter.
