I can see how funding sedition could be bad for business...

This isn’t even an optics problem for these companies anymore. The instability caused by the overthrow of the United States government would be bad for their bottom line. These companies will take more stringent regulations over an authoritarian government on this country not necessarily based on principle but certainly based on the pursuit of making more money.

Oh, there are people who can make money in any situation...

I'd like to know who those businesses were before comment, and that's information not included in this article.

For instance, what were these businesses supporting during the riots over the summer? Were these businesses outspoken of the left whose been claiming voter suppression against minorities for years and those claiming Trump colluded with Russia here recently?

To be perfectly honest, I expect rank hypocrisy from those who supported all that...

So it would be interesting to know who these businesses are...

Also as a general comment:

While I believe very sincerely that Trump should have conceded the election yesterday (prior to that march on the capital) and he could have easily done it very gracefully at that time and simply chose not to which I believe was wrong on his part... I also believe that media and all our elected officials etc have done all they could to erode American confidence in our system of law as well as our election system this last decade. This is not just a Trump problem - they've all joined in on removing people's faith in our system of government, one that worked for hundreds of years now they flushed it all down the toilet, for money, or for power, or because they truly wanted to destroy the U.S., or because they honestly believed it was rotten. Whatever, everyone had their hand in the mess that became 2020.

Businessmen who know more about false equivalence than you do, apparently.

I sure hope these aren't the same businessmen who lead or work in large Corporations that have their hands in the production and/or streamed dissemenation of inappropriate contentography. That, too, would be a scandal.

We'd hate to see that things have been a bit 'stormy' on the Left as well as the Right.

bible prophecy has to be fulfilled one way or the other, right?
Not all of us would agree, maybe the Bible isn’t as infallible as you’re told it is?

Fine. I never said you had to agree. But if the Bible is true, then it will bear itself out in the history of humanity one way or another, to the chagrin of quite a few folks (if I understand it right ;)).
