When questioned by Steve Castor, the investigative counsel for the republicans on the House Intelligence Committee, Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman confirmed that Burisma Holdings received $23 million US taxpayer dollars (November 19, 2019).

Hunter Biden was paid about $3 million by Burisma.

    Seems like a good return.

The $23 million that Vindman testified to ... was NOT American taxpayer money. That transfer occurred BEFORE the American $1 billion LOAN.

    It was Ukrainian taxpayer dollars.

And it was part of the reason why the Ukrainian prosecutor general was fired.

From ... Timeline: Trump, Giuliani, Bidens, and Ukraine (updated)

While giving Shokin a last chance to shape up (Pyatt says, “We want to work with Prosecutor General Shokin so the PGO is leading the fight against corruption.”), the ambassador criticizes “officials at the PGO’s office” for not providing documents that were needed for the British investigation of Burisma owner Zlochevskiy and effectively allowing Zlochevskiy to transfer $23 million of what Pyatt says were Ukrainian taxpayer assets to Cyprus. In other words, Pyatt is critical of the prosecutor’s office for not aiding in investigations of Burisma’s owner, which was in line with Biden’s criticism that the office was blocking corruption investigations.

For example, in the case of former Ecology Minister Mykola Zlochevskiy, the U.K. authorities had seized 23 million dollars in illicit assets that belonged to the Ukrainian people. Officials at the PGO’s office were asked by the U.K to send documents supporting the seizure.

If the Ukrainian government got $1 billion from US taxpayers, and then they gave $23 million to Burisma, then Burisma got US taxpayer dollars.

Except that your timing is wrong ...

    * The corrupt Ukrainian prosecutor general shunted $23 million of Ukrainian taxpayer money to Burisma.

    * For this reason (as well as other corrupt practices), the US, the EU, and the IMF (International Monetary Fund) insisted the Ukraine depose the corrupt prosecutor (plus additional anti-corruption measures) ... to qualify for scheduled international LOANS (of which the US share was $1 billion).

    * US Vice-President Joe Biden communicated to the Ukraine government what the requirements were to receive the loans.

    * Ukraine eventually fires the corrupt prosecutor ... and, so, receives the scheduled international loans.

    * There is no record of any part of the $1 billion US loan to Ukraine ... going to Burisma.

Not if Burisma got the $23 million in Ukrainian taxpayer money ... BEFORE Ukraine got a cent of US money ...

These accusations are all coming on behalf of a President who has steadfastly refused to release his tax returns - breaking the precedent that has been followed by every presidential candidate for the last 50 years!

If this President refuses to put his trust in the American public to view his tax returns after 3 1/2 years in office, why should the electorate have any faith in his allegations against an opponent who has willingly released his tax returns?

The payment Biden threatened to withhold was not the first payment.

The report said that Burisma got the $23 million from Ukrainian taxpayers (i.e. NOT from American taxpayers).

Now, you're confusing them with facts, again. This isn't about reality for them. It's just a story that they hope will work.

And you ruined everything. I hope you're satisfied.
