A Brooklyn teen claims two NYPD detectives raped her after taking her into custody on a drug charge, authorities said Friday.

The 18-year-old victim's stunning accusations are now the subject of two investigations by the Brooklyn district attorney's office and the NYPD's Internal Affairs Bureau.

True, but she did go to the hospital and they found evidence of a sexual assault. I am hoping there is some surveillance video that could be of help to substantiate her story.

Sad if it happened and also sad if it is a false allegation.

Without more evidence, one can't make an objective conclusion.

But not sad enough for most people to do anything about it. Even if no one is guilty of rape in this instance, people arrested end up in jails where they get raped because no one cares enough to stop it.

Actually, this isn't all that stunning...these kinds of accusations get made all the time. Often, young first time offenders will make accusations of wrongdoing against police in hopes that it will cause their charges to be dropped.

Good to see it's being taken seriously though.

I agree but I think it's more important to try to prevent people from being raped instead of looking the other way and believing they deserved it.

but Martins and Hall told colleagues that the sex was consensual, according to the high-ranking police source.

And if the detectives actually did claim this, then they should be immediately fired and jailed, whatever the outcome of the rape charge.

NYPD cops attack rape accuser's credibility

The two NYPD cops who admittedly had sex with a teenager while on-duty — and are now facing potential rape charges — are trying to avoid indictment by attacking their accuser's credibility, The Post has learned.

In a letter to the Brooklyn District Attorney's Office, lawyers for disgraced cops Eddie Martins and Richard Hall targeted the young woman's raunchy social-media posts since the alleged Sept. 15 attack and her $50 million claim against the city.

Examples cited by lawyers John Arlia and Mark Bederow include a "provocative 'selfie'" the 18-year-old woman posted on Instagram and a tweet in which she "bragged about being followed by the 'paparazzi'" following an Oct. 13 meeting with prosecutors.

We certainly don't know all the facts, but "consensual" sex with multiple cops that have detained you is a pretty far-fetched defense.

Agreed. They are just coming out with this story because they are worried about evidence that will pop up with medical examination I bet. This way at least it doesn't look like they were lying about sexual activity with her. I find it more likely she is telling the truth about it being rape than their version certainly. A sad story.
