Brisbane Air Quality Worse than Beijing

We've had a real problem with bushfires over the last few days, in both Queensland and New South Wales. Nearly 1,000,000 hectares are burning or have been burning in New South Wales.

As a result there's a lot of smoke around.

The difference of course is that the air quality in Brisbane at the moment is a natural phenomenon that will clear as soon as the fires burn out.
Where as the air quality in Beijing is anthropomorphic, caused by the irresponsible manufacture of goods for the consumers of the world.

Yes it is bad and I pray for all involved, firefighters, households, animals including the native animals.
And of course the families who have lost loved ones (three people).
It is a dreadful thing.
