Where in the scripture does it say that God sets boundaries against satan?

Are those boundaries real?

Looks like Job suggests a few, but we know from daily life, that the devil can kill you too, or take over your mind even from infancy, so there seems to be no boundary to the devil.

So, is there still a boundary against the devil?

Discuss.

He can go only as far as God allows. In Job, for instance, God said just don't kill him. Job 2:6 New International Version
The LORD said to Satan, "Very well, then, he is in your hands; but you must spare his life."

On some level, we have to allow/invite the darkness in. They don’t necessarily have a free hand to go wherever they want whenever they want.

With a few common sense prevention steps, avoiding them is pretty easy. And avoiding them is by far the best policy.

Yes, these boundaries are real. I know...sometimes it feels as though it's not. We want God to move quickly. That's natural.

But we see an end to evil many times in the Bible. God saved His people out of slavery; Jesus healed the woman who was bound by Satan for 18 years (Luke 13:16), etc.

Even today, we witness people being delivered from evil. I don't know why some are delivered and some are not, or why it takes longer for some over the others...I do struggle to understand or accept these things.

If you feel the 1000 year reign is figurative and is the time we are in now than satan is bound from doing somethings. Others have pointed out Job and we know if your house is full of Good there is no room for the bad. Christians have the indwelling Holy Spirit, so if left unquenched there is no way demons or satan can come in.
