It will come out in short time that certain high level Democratic leaders have ties to the Sinaloa Cartel and MS13. Remember "Fast and Furious", the wholesale giving of weapons to the Cartels by the Obama administration?

Goats had a feeling that was going on.

They may be controlled by the evil one?

I'm sure you are a reasonable intelligent person so I'll ask a simple question.... if there's a greater chance of getting caught smuggling something across a border check point and you could freely cross without obstruction 50 miles up the border, what would you do?

The bulk of illegal drug shipments come in via legal ports of entry per the DEA but hey what do they know.

Personally, I could care less about the wall. Eitherway. But I think most of this paranoia
to get the wall built. Is the Fox news channel brain washing. It's veiwers.

Since you're obviously reluctant to actually look at the source, I've done it for you.

Hate to bust your bubble, but the U.S. Government disagrees with your OP (the labor union president):
Falling Illegal Immigration Numbers Confirm No Border Crisis
Specifically, the info comes from the U.S. Border Patrol Agency itself and the Department of Homeland Security, not the biased and non-governmental labor union.

I thought conservatives don't like socialism in America, Bob. Conservatives can't have it both ways.

66. Customs and Border Protection - the CBP is the largest law enforcement agency in America. This is big government that republicans actually do like because they don't like Mexicans immigrating to our country like our ancestors did. However, this taxpayer funded, socialist agency of the federal government regulates trade, imports, and immigration. (75 Ways Socialism Has Improved America)

Now you are just being dishonest. What I am asking you to do is to compare the effectiveness of a 35-foot concrete monolithic wall to conventional border security measures (which includes barrier fencing). I want to know why you think we need that wall instead of beefing up what we ready do.
A 35' wall is more effective than a barrier fence of unlisted height. Have you seen some of these "barrier fences" along the border? The are 4 ' high with some barbed wire.... surely you can see the effectiveness delta between the two.

Based on what? The fact they confiscate more at the checkpoints? How do they know how much is coming across uncontrolled areas? They don't...

More effective at what? Drugs are increasingly being smuggled in by drones. The Border Patrol have deployed sensor-bearing aerostats (basically tethered blimps) at intervals along the border to stop this traffic. How would a 35-foot wall do it better?

Yeah, they do. It's possible to build up a pretty good idea of the supply chain for illegal drugs even if they don't have evidence to make arrests all the time.

I need to be direct with this statement and I'm sorry if you're offended by it, but if your children were the subject of an illegal's violence, you might change your focus.

Are the trafficked humans coming in by drone? What about the MS13 gang members? You're kicking against the pricks my friend...

Sources? At best it's an educated guess... but a guess none the less.

Can you list the political affiliation of that Labor Union president? Being Labor, I would venture Democrat...
Btw, Labor Unions are not US Government.

National Border Patrol Council President: There is a national emergency on our border -- Here's proof

As a 21-year front line veteran Border Patrol agent and president of the National Border Patrol Council, I'd like to put to bed the false notion that there is no national emergency on the United States/Mexico border. I hope facts will do the trick.

Since November of 2013, I've been called upon to give expert Congressional testimony about various aspects of border security on 18 separate occasions. I've testified before the Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee, the Senate Judiciary Committee, the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, the House Judiciary Committee, and the House Committee on Natural Resources.

We're dealing with the smuggling of dangerous narcotics like opioids and fentanyl, which has caused an epidemic and American deaths at unprecedented rates.
We're dealing with a greater number of people from countries other than Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras.
And to top it all off, we're dealing with a greater number of people illegally crossing the border who have prior criminal records in the United States.
Clearly, if the United States was dealing with a border crisis – humanitarian or otherwise – in 2014, you must agree that we're now dealing with a complete border catastrophe.

Once again, we must deal with facts and compare apples to apples. While we made more arrests in the 2000s than today, what you're not being told is that we're on pace to arrest more people in fiscal year 2019 than ever before.
This sounds confusing but it's actually simple. In the mid-2000s, the vast majority of people (over 90 percent) were returned to Mexico within a few hours of being arrested. Upon returning to Mexico, the same people would simply attempt another illegal border crossing. Former Border Patrol Chief Michael Fisher once proclaimed he arrested the same group of people 10 different times in the same shift.
Although I personally have never arrested the same group of people 10 times in one shift, I did arrest the same group of people multiple times in the same shift. It was commonplace. And while working in the Intelligence Division in 2006, I generated "recidivism” reports. Those reports clearly showed that we arrested the same people multiple times.
Where are people being arrested? If it's at the border, then what good would more wall in remote areas do? Put the border security where it will be effective. And ramp up the humanitarian effort.

You have presented no evidence which might convince me that The Wall is the only way to prevent them. You have pointed out well-known faults in our present border security arrangements (which Democrats were willing to fund upgrades for) but you assert that only The Wall will solve the problem. You are bordering on reportable nasty with your insinuations that those of us who don't want The Wall don't want any border security at all and don't care if gangsters or human traffickers cross it at will.

Do you have any real arguments for The Wall at all, or do you just enjoy a nativist rant now and then?

How soon will it come out? A month? A year? That is a pretty major prediction, and a serious accusation. When will it be revealed and what do you know that we don’t?
