..called to BE a Saint
Praise God, i was JUST thinking on dietary laws yesterday!-lol#2513 used in 27/28 times in 23/24 verses.
It is used in the book of Revelation in reference to clothing {Reve 15/19}, the City/Street of gold {Reve 21} and river of water {Reve 22:1}
It can be rendered as pure/clean/unpolluted.
14:20 No account of food be thou demolishing the work of the God. All indeed pure/kaqara <2513>, but evil to the man, the one thru stumbling, eating.
Textus Rec.) Romans 14:20 mh eneken brwmatoV katalue to ergon tou qeou panta men kaqara alla kakon tw anqrwpw tw dia proskommatoV esqionti
Strong's Number G2513 matches the Greek καθαρός (katharos), which occurs 28 times in 24 verses in the Greek concordance of the KJV
2513. katharos kath-ar-os' of uncertain affinity; clean (literally or figuratively):--clean, clear, pure.
If it's okay, I'd like to ask a question here, if I may be so intrusive towards your thread?
Are dietary laws said to be Levitical in the body of Scripture?
I can see how they can be construed as such, seeing as they pertain to keeping oneself spotless, unpolluted from the world, but is there any Scriptural teaching along these lines that you recall atm? (My brains aren't working too well today-lol)
Okay well, time for my vitamin B now!
