It's quite logical that Marxists would resent a higher authority. The state and state control is everything to them. Once they are in control they are accountable to nobody, and they fabricate their own moral standards.

There was a prayer by a local minister at the last BLM march I attended. Just as someone already mentioned, there is a great diversity of religious beliefs involved in BLM.

Also, that wasn’t just any church. They preach antisemetism and racism.

Lets look at a little of the love this church and Koletas spreads:

"I’m a racist. I think the races should be kept separate as much as possible. I think you ought to marry your own if you can. Black History Month means communism and Marxism month. Women’s History Month means man-hating and God-hating month. Sodomite History Month is a straight-hating month. American Native Savages Month — they’re gonna make one, too." John Koletas in his sermon of Jan 22, 2020


Then there is his 90 minute sermon titled “Blacks are cursed,” referencing the “Curse of Ham,” which refers to the idea that the black race was created when God punished Noah’s son by turning his skin black marking him and all his descendants as inferior to God's chose people, Caucasians .


the church itself has a sign at the door with a plate of ham "“No one is allowed to enter here unless they first touch the ham, pork, swine.” to weed out Jews and Muslims trying to sneak in to identify children they want to kidnap.

Koletas uses the N word often in his sermons. He tells people "if you’re offended by this, you don’t love the word of God.”
