Causing division and stoking the flames of hatred seems to have profited BLM founder Patrice Cullors:

Patrisse Khan-Cullors, the 37-year-old social justice agitator and co-founder of the controversial Black Lives Matter movement, just purchased a home for $1.4 million in Topanga Canyon in Los Angeles.

Black Lives Matter supporters would be justified in questioning where the $1.4 million came from.

“BLM founder is branded a ‘FRAUD’ after buying a $1.4 million home in an upscale mostly white enclave in LA,” the DailyMailUK reported. “The district in which the BLM founder will now live is 88% white and 1.8% black. Critics accused her of abandoning her social justice and activist roots.”

Cullors, an open Marxist, co-founded BLM in 2013 in response to George Zimmerman’s acquittal in the 2012 shooting of Trayvon Martin."

At least the donors to the cause can finally see where their money is going, and who it's benefitting.
The issue is not that she moved to x neighbourhood full of white people and if that's made an issue then both sides of the argument are racist.

The issue is her marixism phislophy is inconsistent with her lifestyle. If she is fighting for the ideaology that the lowest percent of people should not be given the largest percent of the resources then her amassing money and spending on personal gain seems a very counter-marxist value. She has leveraged her position and embraced her ability to market it to become rich which is a very capatalist approach.

And now their own leader is proving it to everyone. Not many of her followers would be able to do what she's doing. They have to get their loot during a riot when all the other looters are fighting inside the stores for the same merchandise.
Hey!... it's all about branding and getting financial backers.

Patrisse Cullors is the Executive Director of Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation not any other. and she doesn't collect a salary or benefits for her work with them
You don't get it. BLMGNF is an offshoot of BLM. One could be voluntary while the other is not. Willing to accept proof she receives no benefits from BLM itself.

How much is someone who has Marxist values allowed to spend on a house before they are accused of hypocrisy?
Considering it was American big money that sponsored Marx in the first place? Marxism is a tool.

You mean like a diamond studded preacher quoting Jesus, "Verily I say unto you, It is hard for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of heaven."?

in a way, except those diamond studded preachers will preach a prosperity gospel so in a sense their lifestyle is consistent with that message. Cullors doesn't like the imbalances of capitalism and promotes a more Marxist appoarch but her lifestyle doesn't match this message. (Based on the op)

In capatalism if you're famous you're free to leverage your fame as much as possible to make money. She may not have made this money through donations but maybe through being a social media influencer (like how a preacher gets their wealth from book sales). With capatalism this is all fine and you're just playing the game better but in Marxism that money needs to be distributed out to level off the imbalances. If she preaches Marxism then her lifestyle is inconsistent with this.

Marxism/communism isn't an evil in itself it just generally is used for corrupt agendas but it can be a very laudable goal. However one reason why capitalism is so successful is it makes people more ambitious always shooting for something better (this also makes us selfish) but can have a more positive impact on the economy where communism can dissuade passion and ambition and have a greater negative impact on the economy. I don't have a problem with her Marxism desires I have a problem with her hypocrisy. Make all the money you want and be free to spend it how you choose, no problem, just don't say your against capatilism while you profit from it.

When they spend much more than what they claim white society allows them to have in the first place.

What of so called Marxist that preach the concept of a better society such as free health care for all with no jumping the queue. There seems to be many branches of this tree that are not all bad.

She claimed white society only allowed her to earn a certain amount?

Does this thread serve any purpose apart from allowing people to call her a hypocrite and cast aspersions on her character?

It can also tar the BLM movement by association!

It's not like white rich people get their fortune through honest means either.

The BLM Movement isn't about a moral high ground, it's more about holding society accountable for treating them unfairly.

If a white pastor did the same thing with the donations there'd be a similar reaction.

So the uproar and result is in a way fair treatment.

Is BLM a faith based religion?

No, but they are fuelled by donations.

I don't know it seems very like a faith based religion to me. Not the idea that black lives matter but the organizational structure of BLM .org seems much like a top down religious organization and its manifesto seems to be based upon ideas that cannot be proven but must be taken on faith alone.
