You’re arguing for more “disorder”, if you think that protests should be scattered and disorganized, without clear identifiable goals.
All Alinsky did was codify his set of rules for a years long campaign to change the social order based on the needs of the people in that society.

Why is that horrible?

Because his method created more disorder. In the case of the gangs, people got killed over his philosophy. He wanted an "enemy" and a "target" and not peacefully work with people. It's a "pit people against each other" philosophy. People are a "target", not a human to be worked with.
