This was originally in a PM I sent to a fellow OBOBer who recommended that I post this here for a better answer:
I didn't think this question deserved its own thread but is it ok to have a priest bless more than one thing at the same time ie: a rosary, miraculous medal and st benedict medal or is it preferable to just do one at a time since some things such as the st benedict medal has its own blessing (if u know what i mean)? I was gonna do it today but the priest left as soon as mass was over and left in his car rather than hang around afterwards. I finally found a catholic supply shop today (in the guise of a book shop) that is run by the sisters from the convent near by. I was beginning to think that my city didn't have one!

The question is...would a priest see it as inconvenient (or that I dont value the items) if I ask him to bless them in one go or should they be done at separate times? I think thats the question I had in mind lol! I don't know if my words describe what I was thinking satisfactorally (sp?) but I think people will get the idea...

I would do them individually. But just ask the priest how he wants to do it if you are fine both ways.

If you have something which requires a special blessing (salt or a green scapular for example) then ask him to bless them seperately, but the other items can all be blessed at once. Generally the priest or deacon will have their preferences for this as well.
