• Welcome to Christian Forums
  1. Welcome to Christian Forums, a forum to discuss Christianity in a friendly surrounding.

Your voice is missing! You will need to register to be able to join in fellowship with Christians all over the world.

We hope to see you as a part of our community soon and God Bless!

  2. The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

Christian members please remember to read the Statement of Purpose threads for each forum within Christian Congregations before posting in the forum.
  4. Please note there is a new rule regarding the posting of videos. It reads, "Post a summary of the videos you post . An exception can be made for music videos.". Unless you are simply sharing music, please post a summary, or the gist, of the video you wish to share.

Is Blasphemy of the Holy Ghost accidentally confusing Satan and the Holy Spirit in a dream/visual hallucination can Satan place the mark for accidentally bowing to Satan or was the blue light that said mark incoming a dream. Would God place the mark on a mentally ill person for confusion and erase their name from the Lamb's Book of Life.

Is God truly angry with me that I accidentally worshiped Satan in a dream/visual hallucination the yellow light occurred so fast to my brain it happened so fast it followed me to the door and the shower and I was praying to Jesus and I thought Jesus was the yellow light and I bowed family, friends, church tell me that Jesus isn't mad that I accidentally worshiped Satan but it feels real.

I go to my evening church service in a little bit but is blasphemy of the Holy Ghost an accident in a dream/hallucination would God really allow Satan to show up to a mentally ill believer who has confusion would God really allow that to occur or was it simply a dream from scitzphrenia that came on as I am the right age for scitzphrenia and I had all the conditions for developing including family bloodline would Jesus really hold me guilty for my schizophrenic rant against him in fear when I questioned his judgment on 666 as I was scared I had it and would he hold the yellow light against me.

Is Jesus truly mad that I accidentally worshiped Satan not knowing it was Satan is he really going to end our friendship over an accident in the shower that followed me to the door I don't want to be a false prophet/antichrist and I didn't mean to worship Satan it happened so fast that I couldn't stop am I okay with God.

Sportsfan, why would God condemn you for something you did in a dream? How can you even help that? I know you must have heard this a lot already, and from your post you seem to acknowledge it yourself, but, this is just your OCD really acting up. Please, try to rest in His mercy and love.

Have you considered that the doubt you're feeling right now is satan trying to get you away from God's mercy?

Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is the deliberate, knowing, attributing the work of the Holy Spirit to the devil. It can including attributing the work of the devil through the occult to the Holy Spirit.

We can't control what we dream about therefore accidentally doing or saying something in our sleep is certainly not a deliberate action, therefore it cannot be anything like blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

You are fine. Your mind, with the help of Satan, is playing tricks on you. I've dealt with a lot of fear of the unforgivable sin, but I finally understand now what the passage means in context. A Christian cannot commit this sin. The Pharisees were lying about the HS's testimony that Jesus was the Messiah. Since they were lying, they could not become believers. It's that simple. The passage was never meant to frighten Christians. Jesus himself explains exactly what he means right there in that passage. It's not about the words themselves, but what the words are doing- AKA rejecting the HS.
