I liked their innocence too. There are game shows on now, which I would really enjoy if only they would keep them clean! What's My Line was a favourites of mine too.

Flipper is ringing bells; I think we got it here in the UK.

the Newlywed game, I think , was the one where everything got into sex-right?

Oh, I don't know those. I was thinking of game shows. One is when everyone has to have a conversation using only questions - a fun idea, I think we've done it here. But on TV nowadays the shows always seem to become either crude or unkind about other people.

Have Gun will Travel!

A professional gunfighter who is better read that almost anyone today.

It also has more than its share of bittersweet or outright bitter endings. Not all, some are happy. It is refreshing to be able to watch a show and not be able to guess the outcome.

I'm also developing a soft spot for Adam-12. A police show set in Los Angeles that actually carries teh stamp of aproval of the Chief at the time. Somehow a show from the 60s and 70s has a department with policies that many still do not have.

I remember My three sons and as a child being in bed and hearing the theme as Coronation Street was played and there was another Peyton Place. (We were never allowed to watch them as they were adults shows, my how things have changed!)

The Ed Sullivan show was one we often watched on Sunday nights. The show always seemed to have new and different performers.
