The Rev. Elizabeth A. Eaton was re-elected presiding bishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) Aug. 6 at the 2019 ELCA Churchwide Assembly.

I am good with this election, I think she has done a good job in the position. There are some things I would like to see changed or enhanced over her next term, but I also know there is a lot of push back from others in the hierarchy that do not agree with my positions - and that is OK.
