Scotty, on the subject of dispensations and times do you think Peter preached that Jew and Gentile are saved the same way under the direction of the Holy Spirit starting at Pentecost or was it after Paul introduced the concept to him.

Yes I do believe that at Pentecost the Spirit was given to the nations and of course Peter was given the Holy Spirit and keys to the kingdom, So he unlocked the door to the gentile nations with Cornelius, However Paul would be given the mystery gospel which is 1 Cor 15:1-4 by which the "church or Body of Christ" would be saved by believing.

I agree.
God draws and calls , and those who adhere and accept become the body of Christ/ Church.
Why the exclamation points in your post?
Do you disagree that the Church and body of Christ are not synonymous?

Hi and the Greek word EKKLESIA says what it means !

!! Just a habit , I guess !!

I you look in VINE'S DICTIONARY or in STRONG'S EKKLESIA is shown as ASSEMBLY or CONGREGATION and NEVER CHURCH , check and see !!

Vine's , will not show the word CHURCH , only when looking under ASSEMBLY will you see EKKLEDIA !!

In STRONG'S , you will find CHURCH adn then say EKKLESIA means ASSEMBLY !!

Greek dictionary's are not GOD INSPIRED , are they ?

Only the originals Greek words are INSPIRED !!

I never realized this. So body of Christ is the better term for born again christians
