The statement was released one day after tens of thousands of pro-life advocates gathered in Washington for the annual March for Life.

WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden pledged to defend a so-called right to abortion and reaffirmed his commitment to the widespread availability of the procedure in a Jan. 22 statement marking the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the landmark 1973 decision that legalized abortion nationwide.

“The constitutional right established in Roe v. Wade nearly 50 years ago today is under assault as never before,” reads the statement, which was co-signed by Vice President Kamala Harris. “It is a right we believe should be codified into law, and we pledge to defend it with every tool we possess.”

Boy, he might be eating his words if SCOTUS rules in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization that there is no constitutional right. He then contradicts himself by saying that this supposed constitutional right should be codified into law. If it is truly constitutional, then it is already law.

<sarcasm>We have to remember that Joe Biden is a Catholic in good standing in his home diocese and in his diocese in Washington DC. Being a Catholic in good standing AND the president of the United States, his words carry some moral weight. If they didn't I'm sure his bishop and the cardinal in Washington DC would have said something about him being wrong. </sarcasm>

There are these other Catholics who conveyed a different message than Joe Biden. Watch. It's speeded up and a very short 45 second video. 45-Second Video Recap of the 2022 March for Life

I think Biden will stack the Supreme Court and make them overturn any overturning of Roe.
