  3. Please note there is a new rule regarding the posting of videos. It reads, "Post a summary of the videos you post . An exception can be made for music videos.". Unless you are simply sharing music, please post a summary, or the gist, of the video you wish to share.
  4. There have been some changes in the Life Stages section involving the following forums: Roaring 20s, Terrific Thirties, Fabulous Forties, and Golden Eagles. They are changed to Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, and Golden Eagles will have a slight change.

  6. We are no longer allowing posts or threads that deny the existence of Covid-19. Members have lost loved ones to this virus and are grieving. As a Christian site, we do not need to add to the pain of the loss by allowing posts that deny the existence of the virus that killed their loved one. Future post denying the Covid-19 existence, calling it a hoax, will be addressed via the warning system.

Didn't see anything from Quinnipiac, it looks like their last poll was from mid-April.

Rasmussen is a bad pollster, I think that's why it was not included.

Of course, after the likes of Trump, I imagine we're all grading on a curve, here.

The two places that do weighted averages of presidential approval polls have Biden still in net approval territory, although things are narrowing slightly:

538 has him at 52.8% approval, 40.9% disapproval.
Real Clear Politics has him at 54.1% approvals, 40.8% disapproval.

    Rasmussen has him at 48:50%
    Quinnipac has him at 48:40%

He should frame those results because things are starting to heat up, he is doing ok at the weigh in lets see how he does when the fight starts. It is going to be a long, long fight, check back after a few rounds if he makes it that far.

Sure, because it's all about the political fighting, not the health and wellbeing of the country..

The bar really hasn't been set particularly high of late, and Biden seems to be doing more than enough to improve on his predecessor.

My family is vaccinated....and every American has the vaccine available to them. That is a result of executive leadership marshalling the resources of the Federal government to assist states in getting needles into arms.

Why bother? It's not like you're going to change your mind regardless.

On countless occasions you've been provided with long, detailed posts with citations providing beyond a shadow of a doubt that the things you believe aren't true, and you've never changed your mind. So why waste the time and effort?

    Trump said all of this:

February 2020: The coronavirus will weaken when we get into April, in the warmer weather—that has a very negative effect on that, and that type of a virus. Wrong!

It’s going to disappear. One day, it’s like a miracle—it will disappear.
    Wrong!

May 2020: Coronavirus numbers are looking MUCH better, going down almost everywhere … cases are coming way down. Wrong!

June: The pandemic is fading away. It’s going to fade away. Wrong!

July 2020: The pandemic is getting under control. Wrong!

July 2020: 99% of COVID-19 cases are totally harmless. Wrong!

July 2020: We now have the lowest Fatality (Mortality) Rate in the World.” Wrong!

At various times: Children are “virtually immune” to COVID-19. Wrong!

    Just saying.

seems to be a little difficult to admit that Trump did some very significant things such as getting the vaccine produced and approved, getting the military involved in the treatment of patients and building medical facilities, providing two hospital ships, getting all of the needed medical equipment manufactured and distributed to list just a few things.

The months of denial and prevarication showed poor and careless leadership. He constantly belittlled the risk of infection and the seriousness of the disease in the early days. The many people who are disposed to trust the wisdom of their president were misled into believing that covid was not really very dangerous and that even if they got it it would do them no harm.

Many of them perished - on Trump's watch.

Of course it has to be acknowledged that in the end he followed the medical advice. The medical facilities were thrust upon him by the sheer scale of the emergency; he was following events, not leading them.
