Biden approval rating tanks to new low: poll

From the link:

President Biden’s approval rating has tanked to a new low of just 39 percent as his administration contends with a number of domestic and global concerns, a new poll shows.

The abysmal rating was derived from the latest Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll that was shared exclusively with The Hill.

“This is a new low for President Biden as he struggles to solve a myriad of issues,” pollster Mark Penn said, according to the report.
Gotta hand it to joe - he is making Trump look good on a whole lot of major fronts.

If only Biden could match Trump, who was 4% beneath him at this time, despite being handed a booming economy.
yes indeed if only Biden could match Trump things would be much improved, I absolutely agree.

All this just underscores my firm belief that he'll only serve the one term and then turn it over to someone else.
I was wondering about Ronald Reagan, who was the oldest President when he took office. Reagan was nearly 70 years old at his inauguration (so was Trump) and was nearly 78 when he left office. I can remember then that there were rumors floating around about Reagan's fitness for being President. Joe Biden was over 78 years old at his inauguration, making him 8 years older than the previous oldest President. So I agree with your assessment. It will be interesting to see who the Dems start pushing forward as the successor apparent.

Biden is starting to ramp up the 'obscene' language rhetoric, and is starting to match Trump in that aspect....except you see that as bad with Biden, and indifferent with Trump.

The Zogby Poll®: One-fifth of likely voters and Democrats regret voting for Biden

According to the latest Zogby Poll® one-fifth of likely voters regret voting for President Biden. On the surface it doesn't seem like much, especially if you look at the three quarters of likely voters who did not regret their vote; 4% were not sure how they felt.

Why does this matter? If you take into consideration the size of the electorate, and how the last two Presidential elections (2016 and 2020) were decided by tens of thousands of votes in a handful of battleground states, this could really hurt President Biden's chances in 2024. But even though Joe Biden has suffered humiliating defeats in recent weeks, he still has time to recover. One still gets the sense his ship is sinking fast, and he might not have any lifeboats aboard to save him. Biden's low approval numbers, the botched withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan, and inflation eating away the purchasing power of Americans are the president's biggest problems now.
NOTE: - this was before his failure in Afghanistan. It represents the loss of 14,000,000 votes.

Rapidly eroding support among Democrats driving Biden approval ratings to new lows, poll shows

Just 29% of Democrats expressed satisfaction with the state of the nation, down 18% since March.

“While opinions about Biden and the state of the nation continue to be deeply divided along partisan lines, Democrats have become less supportive of the president and less satisfied with the way things are going in the country,” the report said.
When you split the ratings into different categories and compare the slip, it is even more concerning to Democrats. There has been over a 20% drop of approval in African American voters and a 13% drop in approval in women voters. Those were key demographics in 2020 that pushed Biden over the top in the election. He has also had large drops in Hispanic voter approval.

As they that cannot be named have stressed to this poster, just because it's true doesn't mean you can use the label.

That was my belief when I voted for him.
I still approve of him as POTUS - today.

Which indicates that you know very little about Joe Biden and his past.
