A new poll by the Associated Press released this week found that 63 per cent of Americans approved of his work as president in his first 100 days in office.

The survey done in association with NORC Centre for Public Affairs Research found that about 71 per cent of Americans, and 47 per cent of Republicans, agreed with the president’s response to the pandemic.

There is also an overall optimism about the state of the country, with about 54 per cent saying that the country is on the right track with 44 per cent disagreeing. The pollsters noted that these are the highest positive marks the question has earned in the polls since 2017.

Policy-based follow-up questions suggested the approval rating for the Biden administration was buoyed by his handling of the coronavirus pandemic, healthcare and the economy.

His healthcare policy got a thumbs-up from 62 per cent of participants, while 57 per cent approved his handling of the economy.

It appears that Biden's ambitious program has been a hit with voters.

Is that the same Associated Press that refused to cover Hunter Biden's emails?

Let's take a look...
Biden email episode illustrates risk to Trump from Giuliani

AP Explains: Controversy over Hunter Biden

The problem for Trump was that the AP was covering everything about those email stories. And those revelations played no small part in Trump's loss to Joe Biden. In particular, the "Hunter Biden Laptop" fiasco made the Trump campaign look both crooked and incompetent.

Actually, Biden's overall approval amongst adults is somewhere closer to 52% currently (and seemingly on the decline), if you average all available polls together and don't just choose the most favorable result; (How Popular Is Joe Biden?)

And those who disapprove? Millennials I know disapprove because he is not progressive enough. They think he needs to lean hard on Manchin and Sinema to make them vote with Democrats. TBT, Sinema's only chance at reelection is HR1 because her state is one that is waging war on voters.

Do not think the disapprovers are ready to jump on the Trump train. They want to derail it completely, not ride it.

They like Bernie, the Squad...

And my own personal favorite, Katie Porter.

Keep giving people money and he may go to 90% approval.

Didn't work for Trump. For example, when he started a trade war with China and lost markets for farmers, he proposed to give them welfare checks to make up for it. They weren't so pleased with that, were they?

Well in my area they already get checks from the government, actually they may be the biggest welfare program around.

You do not starve if you are a farmer in the Ms Delta

The most recent poll is just the highest he's gotten so far. Real Clear Politics and Five Thirty-Eight haven't yet included that in their averages. Surprisingly, the most recent listed is Rasmussen which always skews to the republican side, and they have Biden at 53 approval, something Trump never achieved. So it's not surprising that a subsequent poll not skewed to the right, would have him at 63.

Wow, Eisenhower finished at 78%

Yep. But remember, the architect of victory over Hitler, very moderate to the point that he (formerly completely apolitical) had trouble deciding if he was a democrat or a republican, and genuinely likeable.

Notice that Trump giving them more money didn't save him. Middle-class people aren't looking for handouts; they want competent leadership. And they seem pretty happy now that they have it.

I am no defender of trump never voted for him once. But i also would not stoop low, and vote this biden puppet either.

So just exchanging one clown for another, really the difference is again people will just get more handouts. I mean the republics are getting good at spending to, but the democrats have it perfected.

I'm glad President Biden is doing well in the polls. I can't emphasize enough how thankful I am every single day that he was elected and we don't have to endure four more years of his predecessor.

Seeing as he completely outclassed Trump in the debates, and has so far outmaneuvered his republican opposition, I'd say you're still not adapting to the reality of the situation.
