President Joe Biden made history Sunday when he granted a pardon to his son Hunter Bidenfor criminal convictions on gun and tax charges.

The power to grant pardons for federal crimes is uniquely bestowed by the Constitution on only the US president: “… he shall have Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offences against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment.”

Presidents have doled out pardons to friends and donors, to political allies, and to make political points, but no president until Biden has pardoned his son.

Who pardons Joe and Jill? 45 days left and there is no love between the Bidens and Kamala to slide her into the presidency and pardon them.

Actually, this works in Trump's favor. Since Joe has issued a pardon to his kid, the liberals won't be able to scream bloody murder when Trump issues a full pardon to the Jan. 6th protestors. :)

I was hoping that this could have been handled in a less politically charged way. I was hoping that President Biden would work a deal with Trump to pardon Hunter after Trump took office; but that would have delayed it past sentencing. If they had worked it this way, it would have been a good olive branch that showed a move to less lawfare. It would have killed this talking point about Trump only being out for revenge. As it is, it just leads to a worst perspective of a biased justice system.

...but liberals will scream President-elect Trump is literally President Hitler so they will disregard any corrupt doing by President Biden....yes, the left is very hypocritical, but don't color me surprised....
