I use KJV primarly although I do also have an NIV. KJV seems to be the most accurate (although I'm not a diehard a KJ only person) :)

If you like the Majority Text. The English Majority Text Version is a good choice, it is available online, I for e-sword and also in a bible with the Apostle's Bible Old Testament.

It, unlike the KJV and the NKJV, is from the family of documents and not just a relative handful of documents.

I teach from the NIV, do my study prep with both the NIV and NASB, and my "recreational" reading with "The Message", I also sometimes use the Complete Jewish Bible.

I also use the "Jewish New Testament Commentary" by David Stern, and the Jewish Publication Society's Torah Commentaries.

As for Protestant Bibles, my favorites are the HCSB and the NIV. But my primary Bible is a NAB. That's a Catholic one of course. :)
