  1. Welcome to Christian Forums, a forum to discuss Christianity in a friendly surrounding.

Your voice is missing! You will need to register to be able to join in fellowship with Christians all over the world.

We hope to see you as a part of our community soon and God Bless!

  2. The forums in the Christian Congregations category are now open only to Christian members. Please review our current Faith Groups list for information on which faith groups are considered to be Christian faiths. Christian members please remember to read the Statement of Purpose threads for each forum within Christian Congregations before posting in the forum.
  3. Please note there is a new rule regarding the posting of videos. It reads, "Post a summary of the videos you post . An exception can be made for music videos.". Unless you are simply sharing music, please post a summary, or the gist, of the video you wish to share.
  4. There have been some changes in the Life Stages section involving the following forums: Roaring 20s, Terrific Thirties, Fabulous Forties, and Golden Eagles. They are changed to Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, and Golden Eagles will have a slight change.
  5. CF Staff, Angels and Ambassadors; ask that you join us in praying for the world in this difficult time, asking our Holy Father to stop the spread of the virus, and for healing of all affected.
  6. We are no longer allowing posts or threads that deny the existence of Covid-19. Members have lost loved ones to this virus and are grieving. As a Christian site, we do not need to add to the pain of the loss by allowing posts that deny the existence of the virus that killed their loved one. Future post denying the Covid-19 existence, calling it a hoax, will be addressed via the warning system.
  7. There has been an addition to the announcement regarding unacceptable nick names. The phrase "Let's go Brandon" actually stands for a profanity and will be seen as a violation of the profanity rule in the future.

Separation from God is the evil.
We cannot be Holy outside of communion with God.
We can only desire to be back where we belong,
    and ask for forgiveness,
    which is always granted.

    Stopped creating, yes.
This is what science is all about, proving that
there is no "magic" happening from God.

There is no work needed. Jesus did all the work.
Your only "task" is to accept that Jesus did enough
and Trust and have Faith that God is there for you.
Strong faith is the key. Not Muscles.

28Then they inquired, “What must we do to perform the works of God?”

29Jesus replied, “This is the work of God: to believe in the One He has sent.”

30So they asked Him, “What sign then will You perform, so that we may see it and believe You? What will You do? 31Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, as it is written: ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’c

32Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I tell you, it was not Moses who gave you the bread from heaven, but it is My Father who gives you the true bread from heaven. 33For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”

34“Sir,” they said, “give us this bread at all times.”

35Jesus answered, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to Me will never hunger, and whoever believes in Me will never thirst. 36 But as I told you, you have seen Me and still you do not believe.

    1 John 1:7 describes a Christian.
1 John 1:6, 8 and 10 describes the doctrine of the Gnostics infiltrating his congregation in Epheshus that John was battling, and points out below where I have quoted 1 John 4:1-3. They believed we could only sin in our spirit, as Jesus only came in spirit form and not in the flesh. Therefore, any sin of the flesh is not a sin at all. Thus, they say they haven't sinned, don't sin, and don't need to repent of sins of the flesh. This was also the sin of the Nicolaitans of Revelation 2. Do not make the common western mistake and believe that 1 John 1:8 is to Christians, and discount the whole context of 1 John. After all, 1 John 3:9 says the opposite of 1 John 1:8, therefore both can't be right. One reason some insist that 1 John 1:8 is to Christians is because they know they sin and want to say everyone does it in justification. This is also why some claim Romans 7 is about the normal Christian experience, and not about Paul's experience as a Pharisee while under the law BEFORE Christ? Become baptized in the Holy Spirit so you will experience the power of being dead to sin, and really know that the law of the Spirit of life in Christ has freed you from the law of sin and death???

1 John 4:1-3 "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world."

Unless you have been baptized with the Holy Spirit and have become dead to sin, and do not fulfill the lusts of the flesh you are not a Christian. Romans 6:2, Romans 8:8-9.

To become baptized with the Holy Spirit you must cry out to God and ask Him to cleanse you of all sin and give you the power of the Holy Spirit to become dead to the desire to sin. This is why Jesus went back to heaven. It was in order for His Spirit to indwell His people. For without holiness, no one will see God. Hebrews 12.

as far as i and many others can read, the main difference highlighted in Scripture is the difference between good and evil, and this means that any other difference may be misleading, which is why God warned humans to be careful with the knowledge of good and evil (Genesis 2:17), because there is a real cause of the emergence/manifestation of evil, but there may also be a misleading explanation for that... - for example, Scripture doesn't say that the main difference is the difference between unseparation and separation, (or between) nonsex and sex, (or between) non-eating and eating, etc., but there has, first of all, been spiritual unrighteousness/lawlessness/wickedness, and then there has also been physical causation/infliction of evil...

what or who creates a whole human being from one microscopic ovum/zygote through the biological processes of pregnancy?!, what or who creates biological cells, tissues and organs?!, you don't even know what complex biological processes go on in your biological body, but there is something or someone performing all those processes, or is it possible that something come/proceed from nothing?!

yes, it is so, but this is just the beginning of faith i.e. the basics of faith - when it comes to practicing the faith of the true Saints, there is a lot more to do and overall development... - i don't think that i have completely pleased God just by believing in Him when there is still not full salvation for all humans/souls... - let's say He can save everyone providing them with abundant and eternal life quite directly, but if we don't work enough for that salvation, He may remain displeased with us...

    Blessings

That "Knowledge" is unknown to those in communion with God.
The only way to know the difference is through the experience
    of separation from God.

hardly is God unable to make His creatures know the real difference without falling from His grace - how have His Angels known the real difference between "Light" and "darkness" without ever being (born) under sin and death (they have always lived in the "heaven" since the beginning)?! - in fact, the first human beings, Adam and Eve, had been aware of the truth before the Fall, they knew they should not "eat" from the "tree of the knowledge of good and evil" and that they could die if they "eat" from it...

They were not aware of the results, and the Serpent had to convince them.

didn't God tell them that they will "die" if they "eat" from the forbidden "tree"?!

satan simply used the moment when God was in a state of incomplete wakefulness(Genesis 2:2-3) to seduce humans - and that was done against the Will of God

There is no one good but GOD

Is there and "good" / harmless souls in Eden?

And how did they get in since the way was blocked?

of course there are many holy souls in the "heaven" - thousands of Holy Angels, thousands of Resurrected Saints and thousands of righteous and harmless enough people that were taken to the "heaven" at least after the end of their physical lives in this world (remember the parable of the pharisee and Lazarus - Luke 16:19-31)

why do you think the way to the "heaven" has or had been blocked for every soul?! - God placed cherubim to guard the way to the "tree" of life in order to prevent spiritual offenders from abusing it, but this doesn't mean that the way to the "heaven" had/has been blocked for everyone

Because the WAY was blocked and the WAY back in was provided

And THE WAY is only through the TRUE VEIL which is CHRIST's body

Who told you anyone outside of CHRIST is in heaven?

GOD said to Adam in the day you eat of it, you will surely die

GOD already knew beforehand even as HE created us that there would be THAT DAY when we/Adam/mankind would eat of the forbidden tree

how then would you explain the fact that according to what is written in Scripture persons such as Enoch and Elijah didn't even die but have been taken up into the "heaven" (i.e. even without experiencing physical death for their bodies such as many others have suffered)?! (Genesis 5:24, 2 Kings 2:9-11)

why must God have blocked the way to the "tree" of life for righteous and harmless enough people?! - is He unrighteous?!

Enoch and Elijah are shadows and will also hold to the testimony of JESUS

All men will die once sir
They were taken up and are most likely the two witnesses of revelation

Enoch is a shadow of those predestined from the beginning

And Elijah is a shadow of those who are also born of GOD's SPIRIT

And all will testify of JESUS

"shadows"?!, weren't Enoch and Elijah real persons?!

there were not only two cases of being resurrected/taken up into the "heaven", e.g. remember the cases of Moses and Samuel (Deuteronomy 34:5-12, Luke 9:28-33, 1 Samuel 25:1, 1 Samuel 28:7-16)

    Blessings
