These are both wonderful, but if I had to choose one it would be Gill's.

A little off subject, but if you like the Gill you should also check out his Body of Doctrinal and Practical Divinity. One of the most sufficient theological works.

Whoa theres a lot of good stuff here.
I had been reading commentaries by John R.W. Stott, his style and integrity is what i like about his commentaries and he gives good dosages of historical background and research on authorship, context in which epistles were written and such stff. His commentaries are mostly released by inter-varsity press.

I'm sure there are many good commentaries. I have not gotten into a lot of them but one I really like is the one volume work of William MacDonald called "Believer's Bible Commentary" published by Thomas Nelson Publishers. It is extremely readable and easy to understand. It also speaks from a pre-trib Rapture viewpoint, which is the one I believe.
