Has anyone heard of this?
Just saw a YouTube by Shofar Ministries called
Amazing: Jesus Discovered in Ancient Code in the Old Testament
The beginning at 3:30 point minutes, he states a professor played a couple of Psalms substituting the Hebrew letter to it's equivalent Hebrew musical note.
And the music is absolutely beautiful.
The first is Psalm 23 then 48, 81
I researched YouTube but couldn't find anything.
It's not a harp that's playing though.
Even so, my brain tingled as I heard them.

Yes, I heard about it several yrs. ago, that is about a harp with 22 strings corresponding to the 22 Hebrew letters.
I think you would find this article very interesting.

Yes I have heard of it also. The 22 string harp invented by King David called a nevel. They are currently being made by the House of Harrari.**

The problem is no one has any clue what notes those 22 strings should be tuned to, or even what kind of musical scale was used in David's Israel. In western music we have a chromatic scale of 12 evenly spaced notes per octave. Primitive Arabic music uses 14 notes per octave but the intervals are not evenly spaced.

In Israel 3000 years ago, the scales may have been something totally unrecognizable.

But if we COULD figure that out, we would have the original melodies for many of the Psalms.

Wouldn't that be great? :clap::ebil:
On the video, Psalm 23, 48, 81 are played.
From what I understood the wording of the Psalms 23 in Hebrew were addressed in their musical notes instead of letters, then played, like I understand you saying that the sound of the notes in Hebrew are probably not accurate? because the notes have changed over time?
Even if that's true the music is beautiful.:amen:
