Sometimes I listen to this album to feel my sadness. It is a beautiful album. I wanted to share it with everyone. It gives the heart peace.

This is a traditional Kazakh song, sung by Madin Sadvakasova. It's a very beautiful melody, but the song is very sad, about a young Russian woman (Maria) who wants to marry a Kazakh man she loves but is instead promised by her family to a Russian man who she does not love.

The choice of instruments and key would be enough to make it sad, and the words are sad also, but they get far sadder in the final verse when things finally come into focus.
