Be Alert

We need to be alert as Christians each day. We have an enemy who goes about like a roaring lion,seeking whom he may devour. The Evil One wants to destroy us,but we have a Saviour who is stronger than Satan and sin. Jesus is the Lion of Judah and will protect and defend us. Be alert!

The aim of the enemy is to humiliate us and separate us from God and bring about our downfall. He is like an evil dragon. He is powerful,but limited because He can't be everywhere like God,by His Holy Spirit. He has demons,but they are no match for the believer who puts on the full armour of God,believing in the victory of our Lord's death and resurrection!

Thanks. There's quite a few Scriptures about being alert. Realizing more the importance of the word "every" in this Scripture. "Yeshua answered, “Scripture says, ‘A person cannot live on bread alone but on every word that God speaks.’” Matt 4:4 (NOG)

Know some would say that's being legalistic. But He said it so He meant it. Of course, He knew we would have to rely on Him every time.
