Thomas Barrack, a private equity investor who is a close friend of former President Donald Trump, was arrested Tuesday morning in Los Angeles on federal charges related to illegally lobbying Trump for the United Arab Emirates.

Barrack, who was charged with three other men in a seven-count indictment in Brooklyn, New York, federal court, was chairman of Trump’s 2017 inaugural fund.

Barrack, 74, is a longtime friend of Trump’s, and the founder of the large private equity firm Colony Capital.

So many Trump folks have been arrested that all that we discuss is his name.

Barrack was an UAE secret agency who was well compensated by the UAE for doing their bidding while Trump was a candidate and when he was president.

I never could understand why Trump suddenly had a hi$$y fit and strongly opposed Qatar, while we had (and have) a huge airbase in this strategic ally's territory. Now we no why. Barrack got Trump to take this action as requested by the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
