Except for the OP details where there exactly ZERO lunar eclipses in all of US history that take place on an election day. And the "detail" where this one is on an election where killing babies is being hotly debated in the election.

And of course no other one will happen in all of time in this context.

This is a good point - undeniably we are reaching the end of probation for the Earth. Our 6000'th year draws to a close in the near future.
We should expect to hear "move long... nothing to see here... pay no attention to that sign"

Sounds like Luke doesn't understand astronomical time keeping any better than you. Perhaps, he wasn't exposed to enough astronomy unlike the editors of the Torah, who clearly knew their Babylonian cosmology and astronomy.

And after this moon of blood, what exactly happened to advance the lord's "glorious day"? Seems like all of the anti-abortion measures failed as did so many of those who would change our government into a theocracy.

You would think God would have made the Blood Moon on Aug. 2, 2022 -- I believe that was the first day that abortion was on the ballot (since Roe v. Wade being overturned) in the US. Kansas, having a large number of Christians, would presumably have been open to the idea that God had set it up as a sign to tell them to vote "Yes." Instead, they voted against the constitutional amendment to ban abortion and this encouraged pro-choice activists, given Kansas was a state where it was believed this would pass without issue, and gave them a roadmap for how to fight similar ballot initiatives in their own states.

As has been stated before - the whole world had free will at the time of the flood and could ignore the warnings sent... and the whole world has free will today and can choose as they wish to ignore warnings God sends.

Matt 24:
37 For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. 38 For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be.
