I.e. the path leading to the movement,
the movement itself ([Manet, Monet,
Degas, Renoir etc.) and of course Post-Impressionism
(Van Gogh, Cezanne, Seurat etc.).

It reminded me of how much my art professor spoke about this movement. He was surely devoted to express his opinion and love for it..
...how it is considered the first distinctly modern movement in painting, and in order to achieve this effect, many Impressionist artists moved from the studio to the streets and countryside...

I love VanGough. When at his worst mentally he was best spacialy. You can google it bery interestig. Captured turbulence patterns. Post impression I believe. Also Klimpt(sp.) and Picasso.
