As the title asks how much GDP should be Govenment spending and if you want to specify what that spending should be on...
I went for 31 - 41% probably more around 35 - 40% to be exact.
Id spend it on
Defence (less than what we currently pay)
Welfare (about the same spending but stricter)
Healthcare (increase spending to bring it in line with other European countries, possible rebate for people opting for private care)
Other such as local government funding, prisons, police etc... (probably leave most of it the same with very minor changes)
