As a Christian; What do you fear?

This is the end of advent, and i noticed that, mary, joseph, and even the shepherds were afraid and counseled to "fear not"--- here are my thoughts --- do you struggle with fear?

I would not say that I fear the Catholic Purgatory or something like it, but I am somewhat apprehensive about the possibility of having my sins purged before being able to move on to Heaven. However, fear would be to strong a word, for if Purgatory does exist, I do not believe that it is a place of burning, as has so often been explained by various Catholic theologians/teachers.

I don't fear the afterlife that much, but I fear stress and getting current blessings and protections from God removed.
